Task 1 breifs

Briefs

Briefs are important these days as they do give information to a client or a person about a specific thing. For example if you was going to apply for a job. the job application whouild have to come with a brief describing to u what they hope for you within the job and also what they want to expect from you. A brief is also important to have because when you are applying or entering something, and it is also so important to give a brief if you yourself want to create something as it tells the client what you are going to do and also what is going to be created overall.

Negotiated Briefs
Negotiated briefs are important because when it comes to creating a video you whouild need to take into account sorting out the clients but also sorting out any differences there maybe also negotiated breifs are so important because you have to negotiate with a lot of different pints with the client itself alos you whouild need to get a understanding of what they actually want to do. Also knowing that you have to be able to negotiate with the client fairly so it can give us an idea of what kind of picture that the client actually wants such as they want the college colours also as the main background. aswell.
This image is a typical example of a Negotiated brief because they are talking about what they want to make and what could be improved.

 Competition
Competition briefs tell you what they are aiming to do. Within a competition brief you are finding out everything you need to know. The creators of the competition are well included with the company and what they are selling towards the competition also they will include what the company is about and also give you a detailed bit of information about what is going on. They do also state a deadline day as well in which then the completion closes which is also important to know. On-line i also did find a competition about Nikon who are a camera company also that are based all around creating the best shot within the photos and also videos. Whitin the brief to begin with they have included who can also enter, they also tell you exactly what they want from the competition also telling you that they require a portfolio of 5-12 of your best digital images taken by yourself. They also state within the competition brief that the applicant does need to treat the competition like a job application and to also include a cover note of 500 words to explain why the competition should be won by them and also why they are entering.

Co-operative Brief
Co operative brief is where you will work alongside someone to create a brief. When working with someone you are supposed to co-operate with them and also discussing the pints written down on the brief. By being able to co-operate with one another you whouild have to be able to discuss the points given and then decide in depth opianon  off one another and also to change the brief for the better.

Formal Brief
Formal briefs are a lot more rigid when it comes to the clients. The clients have to stick to the brief because they cannot change it.  A formal brief includes everything that you need to know about it and also to stick to the brief. These do include all the correct components and also instructions as well that the client needs to know. By having a formal brief it means that the client is more likely to it and also make the company seem a lot more processional and direct with their approach to the client views.

Contractual
A contractual brief is where you are placed in the position of what you are being told to do. A contractual brief involves a client and you. The client can offer you the brief and you have to stick to it. Contractual briefs are used in so many different various places around the world. The most common whouild be a new job. New jobs do offer a brief of what you can exspect out of the worker. You are not able to change what they have written and also when signing the contract brief you must stick to it.

Informal
In a formal brief you are completely opposite to the other formal briefs. The diffrence is that formal briefs are all the more professional and also the proper whereas informal is completely different. Informal is less of a brief but it is more of an open conversation. By having the informal brief you are allowing yourself and the client/ proposer to also negotiate with each other and what is going to be said. You can also change or edit anything that one another has come up with and also to come to a decision together.

Commission
Commission briefs are also the process of being commissioned. When creating a beif like this it is also what you are telling the organisation to do. For example the BBC can offer to commission a sort film for the program. You can send them the details of what you want to include such as a budget or deadlines and audience. So overall you are sending the proposal of the type document to the company and then also decide whether they do want to commision you.

Tender
A tender brief is a type of brief that you whouild get when also being new to a organisation or a job where you can discuss your ideas to other members of the team. When doing this you can then go onto leaving  the company to decide for themselves whether they want to accept you as their client or not. There is an disadvantage  that you might want to know about whuch is that you may not be asked to be the client but a tender brief is less strict overall.
